Canterbury Trials #13–The End

To quote Jim Morrison, “This is the End.” I have had a grand time here in Canterbury worshipping, studying, and making connections and friendships. I am grateful to Canon Ed Condry, Rev. Sara Bimson, Rev. Prof. Kathy Grieb, Rev. Dr. Michael Battle, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Josiah Fearon, the Most Rev. Dr. Rowan Williams and all at the Cathedral Lodge for making this experience memorable. I am grateful to my fellow Canterbury Scholars whose comments and questions have left me enriched in ways I have yet to discover. And I am grateful to you readers for keeping me blogging and leaving me with a record of my thoughts.

On a more personal level, I want to thank +Stephen for inviting me to apply, and then when I was accepted, making my attendance possible. And my wife Rachel who sent me off ont simply with her blessing, but with strong encouragement. I hope to return the favour before too long.

I’ll be back in Canada Monday night. You can find pics of the trip on my facebook page soon after.
